This was a completely avoidable situation, and the lack of transparency felt like an attempted scam. At minimum, someone should have notified me of the issue before I made the trip.
I expect a response explaining how this happened and what your dealership intends to do to make this right.

Now the details.
I worked with Ben Oberholtzer as my salesperson and Ahmed Yusif as the manager.
I called as soon as they opened because I was driving roughly three hours from Austin after my vehicle had been totaled in an accident. I explained that I had financing ready and wanted to leave a deposit so I wouldn’t waste a trip. I was told they would not take a deposit and that the vehicle was first come, first served.
Later, after they wanted to run my credit, suddenly a deposit became possible. Apparently they were unwilling to take me seriously until then.
When I arrived after a three-hour drive, the car was in much worse condition than expected. There were dents, scratches throughout the vehicle, bald front tires, low engine oil with an active warning message, and the car clearly had not been detailed. There was also no second key, which is important on a BMW because it affects access to several digital features.
I was assured that the vehicle had not yet gone through their reconditioning process and that everything would be addressed. I was also told they would attempt to obtain the missing key from the previous owner, use their key vendor, or otherwise help make it right.
The financing process was even worse.
The finance manager (Yusif) walked in and immediately started arguing that “the deal keeps changing.” I wasn’t negotiating vehicle price at all. I was only asking to remove dealer add-ons I did not want. He claimed I never disclosed my own financing despite me having text messages proving otherwise. Even after showing the messages, he continued arguing until eventually moving forward.
At one point I was told I should be grateful because they “held the car” for me, as though they were doing me a favor rather than earning a customer’s business. His apology was trying to resonate with my father on how “Middle Easterners don’t like to yell” but that’s not really an apology or how you speak to customers.
The next issue was the tires.
I learned they intended to replace only one tire on an AWD BMW. Any BMW owner knows that mismatched tires can create drivetrain issues, especially on xDrive vehicles. They were focused only on meeting minimum tread requirements
rather than properly matching tires.
When I returned to complete the purchase, almost none of the promised work had been done. The only items completed were an oil change and wiper replacement. The replacement tire didn’t even match the others in brand or compound.
I was told to buy the car first and come back later for the scratches, dents, key issue, and remaining work.
I was also told that AutoNation’s warranty would be especially convenient because deductible costs would be covered if serviced at an AutoNation BMW dealer. Later I discovered there are no AutoNation BMW dealerships.
After taking ownership, I noticed missing trim around the trunk area that suggested prior bodywork. I asked for help getting it addressed and received no meaningful response.
When I returned the following week, things got worse.
The paint work was rushed and poor quality. I repeatedly told them to take their time and do it correctly. Instead, I was told they needed to close the deal that month.
Awesome! Auto nation in North Richland Hills is amazing! 10/10! Professional and fun! I will be doing all business with them in the future!
Gonzo is a great representative of the dealership and how to treat customers with genuine care
Asked about 1 truck, they worked deal on totally different truck. Plus I have a one owner F250 platinum and they wanted to give less than half of KBB. And then when I told the don’t contact me anymore 3 times kept asking me where I needed to be and they raised the price from 57k on their truck to almost 70k for used dually. Then they flipped me off in text messages
Received great service. Brenden and Nick were very patient with us. They answered all our questions clearly and in a timely fashion.
Eli and Juan made the process of selling and purchasing a new truck incredibly easy and quick. They did an amazing job and took great care of me!

Who has my refund money? Who truly has my service contract, GAP and Dent policy cancellation refund money? No one has a real answer and again this has been since NOVEMBER 2025….they continue to lean on it could take 2-3 weeks, the. 4-6 weeks and then…..crickets.
I hope to never have to conduct ANY business with them in the future. Do yourself a favor, buy from somewhere else. I don’t expect perfection or delays but I do expect to handle business properly. Literally almost a year from purchase and it has been a nightmare.

My big complaint is the fact that you won’t let us schedule an appt. We have to leave our jeep for what always turns out to be a minimum of a week (no matter what we need done) and a lot of times it’s a week before you even look at it! We need our vehicle!! We just moved to Texas 2 years ago and I’ve never heard of this type of service. Please change this!!

They had the truck (1500 Silverado) I was interested in and it runs beautifully. The sales representative found my truck within a few minutes and was very helpful.

Not the “Premier” Experience I Was expecting….
I recently purchased a very gently used 2025 Chevy Tahoe Premier from this dealership—unfortunately, the only thing “Premier” about the experience was the price tag.
The vehicle had 321 miles on it when delivered (not exactly “brand new” in my book), and it was missing the all-weather mats and the owner’s manual. The salesman, Armani, assured me they would be ordered right away. That was over a month ago. Since then, I’ve spoken with Armani (salesman) and Freddie (the Used Car GM), who told me the items were supposedly ordered and would be shipped to my home. Spoiler alert: they never arrived.
I’ve followed up repeatedly with voicemails, emails, and calls. Not a single response. It’s like they vanished the moment the paperwork was signed.
I even tried to escalate the situation with a different manager. I was transferred to Mia, a supposed manager. She was very kind on the phone and seemed like she was eager to help resolve the situation, even promised to call me the next morning after 9 am……the call NEVER came. I’ve also left several messages/voicemails on her direct line and she has yet to return a call, three days later.
If you’re looking for a dealership that ghosts you after the sale, makes empty promises, and treats basic customer service like an optional upgrade—congrats, you’ve found it. This place Is AWFUL! I will never ever buy another vehicle from these people.
There are plenty of places to buy a car. I’d recommend one that doesn’t forget about you the second you drive off the lot, because once you sign and drive off, they are done with the customer.

I had a truly frustrating experience when servicing my vehicle. From start to finish, communication was poor, timelines were not respected and I felt like a burden rather than a customer.
I brought my vehicle in for what should have been a straightforward software update, but it ended up taking much longer than promised (02 days) with very little communication from Vivian, the service advisor. When I finally picked up my car, the recall was never completed, my advisor was off and no one owned the mistake nor offered any solution so I had to take my car back home without solving the problem. It was a waste of time going back and forth twice for nothing!
Great buying experience!! The entire team was absolutely great and pleasant. This was our fourth vehicle we purchased, so it’s safe to say we are loyal customers because of the quality of the team.

We got to the dealership at 7PM to pick up the car, but went on a test drive with the salesman prior to signing the papers. He sat in the front seat, my husband and son in the back. We signed the paperwork, drove off the lot as they were closed they had the gates closed, but we noticed that the passenger seat wasn't working - no power at all - can't adjust, no heat, no air -NOTHING! But I can't call the dealership because they are closed. My son said he noticed the salesman try to adjust the seat, because it was way up and you basically had to be 5 foot or shorter to fit in it. So the next morning, I texted him and he admitted to knowing it was broken but was hoping that it would "fix itself"!!!!! So then I had to drive back to the dealership, a 45-60 min drive to have my car looked at. The service people couldn't even figure out what was wrong with it, they didn't know where the fuse box(es) - because they didn't know that there were multiple - but my husband did because he had researched how to possibly fix it himself). So I had to leave it there, and it took an act of Congress to get a car to drive home - because they don't do that! Well I'm sorry - you sold me a broken car! The dealership's service department then put my car at the end of the line of cars to be fixed. They had told me that it would be looked at on Friday, but it wasn't until we sent a letter to the dealership saying it was illegal to sell a car knowing that it was broken and not telling the customer. I wouldn't have purchased a car from this dealership if I would have know that 2 cars that I had planned on purchasing were not in working order when they were BRAND NEW cars on their lots!!!!!! This dealership sucks!
It was a great buying experience. There was no pressure, and the environment was friendly. I will purchase another car from here in the future.
They have good reviews online from local buyers. I'm an out of state buyer. This has been a disaster. They have my money for the car and shipping fee and they still have the car on the lot. All the paperwork is signed. They won't give me any updates except for "I don't know" when I ask them a question of where is my car, when does it get here, where is the title, who is shipping it. Don't buy from them if you are not local and cannot take possession immediately

Tried to negotiate a price with a salesperson after visiting dealership. He would not return my inquiry Instead, an arrogant sales manager called and quoted me a price $6000 higher than their online advertised price. Very dishonest sales tactics and rude management. Stay away from this dealership.

I had an email from the dealership stating the vehicle was marked down $1,000. But when I came showing them the markdown the salesman kept playing middle man on going back and forth from me and the Manager trying to tell me they would only honor that markdown had I financed only through them. Which was not stated anywhere on the email which was frustrating having to deal with pressure again from financing through the dealership. In the end they honored it, but was very frustrated on how they went about it
Unfortunately my credit union wouldn’t give me cashiers check due to the title not being in the dealership’s name. So I had resulted in having to finance through the dealership just to get my vehicle.
I specifically let them know to just give me one hard pull and I’ll go with that since I already knew I would re-finance through my credit union. They went along and gave me 3- hard pulls on my credit to “shop around” for the best price for me dragging my credit down. Still their quote wasn’t even close to the APR my credit union was giving me.
Come to find out the very next day the title “miraculously” came in and was in my name already. Telling me they had it all along.but played this tactic just to have me finance through them.
Overall this experience took in all about 8 hours between 3 days. This was a horrendous experience from AutoNation and would not recommend anyone I know to go there.
This was very obvious they did not have my best intentions in mind. Only their own. This is not how to take care of their customers.

I’m not happy with the performance of your service department and here is why:
I had my 2021 Jeep Cherokee (that I bought from you) towed into your store on Monday, September 16th. The car wouldn’t start. Sometimes it did, sometimes it didn’t. That day was a no-start day and it had gotten stuck in park. I had to manually press the tab in the gear shift column to get it out of park and have it towed there.
I was helped by Service Advisor, Mitch Meisinger. I informed him about the no start sometimes and the unable to get it out of park. I also told him that I believed the no-start condition was caused by the car not sensing it was in park. Perhaps a faulty gear shift sensor. He asked “crank but no start?” I said correct. Mitch took my info and said it would probably be at the end of the week before you would get to it. He also informed me the cost of investigating the problem and that cost would be taken up by the repair cost if I okayed the repair. The car was out of warranty so the bill is all mine.
On Wednesday, I received a call and text from Mitch telling me the fuel pump was inop and needed to be replaced at a cost of $1770. I asked how is that causing the car to get stuck in park? He said it was all connected. You didn’t have the fuel pump on hand but would order it and it would be in next week.
I had no communication from your service advisors until:
On Friday, October 4th, I called your service department to find out what was going on with my car. Unfortunately, it was 4:41 and no one answered. I left a message on AJ Nunez’s phone as that was the only service advisor number I had. I then called you, the Service Department Manager, and left a message on your answering machine.
I called back on Monday, October 7th at 3:17pm since no one had returned my Friday call. I had AJ transfer me to Mitch. When Mitch got on the line, he informed me that the fuel pump was replaced and it drives good. The maintenance tech had taken it out a couple of times to ensure it would start.
However, he said the tech found a stored code indicating the Electronic Shift Module needed to be replaced. This would cost me another $1300. This is the issue I stated when I brought the car in.
Can you imagine how incensed I got when I was told that the tech found the problem I TOLD YOU WAS THERE in the first place after changing a fuel pump that probably wasn’t the issue! And now you want to charge me another $1300 to replace it the Electronic Shift Module!
Your service department did not do a good job. Your service advisor didn’t listen to me and probably just entered “crank but no start”. Your service tech probably took that and checked voltage coming out of the fuel pump and declared it inoperable without checking to see if there were any stored codes? The lack of communication is just plain bad.
I don’t think I should have to pay to replace the Electronic Shift Module as that should have been found before replacing the fuel pump and probably would have fixed the problem.
Need I say that this is the last time I buy a car from your dealership. One might think that a customer who bought a car at that store would be treated better.
